The ongoing cases at the ICC were adjourned at the last minute because of logistical challenges, one been that the witnesses in Kenya were yet to make it to the Hageu...one then wonders, if the primary role of ICC is to seek justice for the victims, and assuming that some of the witnesses were indeed direct recepients of the violence, how much responsibilty has the OTP taken to secure the care and well being of the witnesses given the intimidating appearance of the court room? One would like to imagine that all the witnesses have been given an induction and a familiarisation tour of the Court. That is the basic duty of care the ICC ought to accord the witnesses.
