ScienceOnline is a sell-out event that takes place annually in the US and aims to facilitate “conversations, community, and collaborations at the intersection of Science and the Web.” But, just because were a few (thousand) kilometres and time zones away, doesnt mean we have to miss out. A group of science communicators from the area are organising to stream two of the videoed sessions so that the local communication and scientific community can join the conversation. After each broadcast, attendees will be encouraged to exchange their thoughts on the topic, with the aim of sharing a summary of this discussion with ScienceOnline. Every participant will receive access to the resulting digital publication, containing insights and shared resources from each session.
