The only major positive about Modi & Obama coming together is the fact that both of them belong to communities that have a long history of being persecuted. 40 years ago, no one wouldve thought (ok MLK Jr. did but no one in India) that a Black or even half-White man would one day be the President of the US, the same way no one wouldve thought that an OBC would become Indian PM (though Choudhury Charan Singh became so in 1979, for a few months only) Its a pity, its sad that both these guys stand for Neo-Liberal politics, the kind of politics that keeps away their respective communities from growing both socially as well as economically. And they are supporters of the apartheid state of Israel. That being said, despite my serious differences with both of them, I find all these racist jokes on Obama (about him trying to steal in Delhi because hes Black) as disgusting as the Chaiwallah and Sadak Chaap digs at Modi. It only proves that while religion and political ideologies may divide middle-class Indians, Racism, Casteism and Class-Snobbery unites them. If you wanna mock & criticize them, mock & critcize them for their political decisions and at most, their personal life. 95% Indians anyway are neither FAIR nor LOVELY/HANDSOME.
