The only post Ill share about Fred Phelps. I had the privilege to read Lauren Drains book. She wrote about her experience in the church and her excommunication from it. Her words, as someone who has been forced out and cut out of her family, still show compassion and humanity. If she can do it, all of us who call ourselves Christians, or even just humans, can do it too. Combat hate with compassion.
