The only reason why VP Binay remains the top contender for the presidency is the fact that corruption is not an issue in Philippine politics. People will naturally talk about it but only a few, very few get scandalized by it. Politicians only need to share the loot with the church and their brethren, and everything will turn out just fine. Almost without exception, every Filipino will readily bribe another in order to get ahead of everybody, they will even race against each other to receive communion in churches. The government is corrupt because the people are corrupt. Morality? Nahhh! Erap had many women, Ramos had his own, and Marcos too.
