The only solution to prevent further train fare hikes from affecting you is to either to become a shareholder of the company so that you can benefit when fares increase, or topple the PAP government in 2016 so that the new government will be more populist and hopefully nationalise the public transport system in Singapore so that profit making is no longer a priority of our public transport system. Which one do you prefer?
