The only thing Hamas cares about is destroying Israel. If you read their charter or any of their leaders speeches they make this quite clear. There is nothing Israel could ever do that would make Hamas want peace or compromise. Their agenda is Islamist in nature. It is against their religion to let any part of the former caliphate be controlled by non-Muslims especially Jerusalem and al Aqsa Mosque, from which Muslims believe Mohammed ascended to heaven. Unfortunately Al Aqsa is also built on top of the holiest site in the world for Jews, the old Temple Mount. It is against Hamass religion to allow Israel to exist.Hamas will sacrifice Palestinians and Israelis for their religious agenda of Islamic supremacy.
