The only thing I remember from 1989 is that I got off work one morning and was gonna go bar hopping with my girlfriend. I was waiting for her to get ready which consisted of make up and Aqua Net, lots of Aqua Net, I have another funny story about that one, but thats for another time. Her mom was sleeping upstairs it was 6 a.m. and we had MTV on and 4 of my friends were in the living room which consisted of bone white carpeting, and bone white furniture, the expensive Broyhill shit. This song came on and we started acting and dancing around all stupid. I was smoking a cigarette which was a big no no in the first place and one of my friends bumped into me and the cigarette fell out of my hand and it landed in a chair and I didnt notice it. We did notice however that we had knocked over a cup full of cigarette butts onto the carpet. We were busy trying to clean up the mess and my girlfriend was coming down the stairs still spraying her hair with that Aqua Net. She screamed FIRE!!! She ran towards the chair and the fumes off the Aqua Net landed on the chair and caught the chair on fire. The fire department was called and well I never got such a big ass chewing in my life. Needless to say, the bar hopping that day didnt happen.
