The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. So Ive caught a lot of flap from individuals who are challenging my support of the opposition to police brutality. I am not opposed to police in general - but excessive force, inappropriate behaviors towards unarmed citizens, gunning down an unarmed youth. My father was LAPD back in the day and even HE thinks this is insane. You NEVER draw your weapon unless you have intent to kill and you NEVER intend to kill an unarmed person. If ANYBODY is to respect law enforcement, we have to weed out these behaviors and the individuals who allow it. There is no other way. To look the other way because it does not directly affect YOU is short-sighted and irresponsible. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
