The only thing that Ive always been so sure about is how weird humans can be. Most assuredly, how shockingly wicked their incentives and motives are. This is such a bizarre world we’re living in: We are in possession of the most magnificent and manipulative tool that no other species possesses – language, however, our usage is so poor of it. There are so many breathtaking and fascinating words that we can use, but instead , we stick to those ugly, depressive , undermining and derogatory words that we are used to using at least twice a day. Instead of caring for each other and wishing the best for others, we tend to wish harm to be infected upon them. We dream of others failing their tasks as we indulge in fantasies regarding the failures of our rivals/enemies_ that are but other humans aiming at success at all costs , exactly like us. Instead of accepting others with all their differences, we impose our ideals on them. We want them to change the way they look, dress, chew their food, behave and we -though unconsciously_ fall into the trap of regulating their ways of life. We then move to a greater level of narcissism attempting to change others; we start projecting our religious beliefs onto their minds. We do all of this desperately believing that we might find a sort of pride in what we see in others after changing them. We want to be proud of who we are, so we kind of transmit our identity to others and force them into absorbing it. And thus, we forget that a world of differences is a rich one. Instead of extending a hand to help others, we extend our tongues to break them, their reputations, their image, their name, their relatives’ name. Why? Because we are humans; cutting each other into pieces is what we do best. I can think of a lot of things that are peculiar and all, but the weirdest thing is how viciously we hate on each other. ” How do haters define themselves”,” What do they see when they gaze at their reflections in the mirror? ” . These people tend to do all of this and that forgetting that they are but passengers; that one day, all of this will turn into ashes and that nothing of it will remain. It’s sad and disheartening, but it’s the harsh truth.
