The only way I support any more U.S. military action anywhere is that it be done independent of the command and control of this incompetent government and it its meddling political corps. Our boys deserve better than to have their lives and efforts wasted by politicians thinking theyre generals, and our generals being treated as subordinates. War is an ugly business. If you have the desire to wage war but not the guts to be ruthless to win it, dont put our boys in harms way only to serve as static targets. Iraq has fallen because of the leadership of a crooked lawyer acting as a general. Lives were wasted; and as an Iraq veteran, I am disgusted to see the predictable consequence of what everyone that ever chewed on that Iraqi sand said would happen. If the political corps that desires to command our military knew what it was like to leave their families with uncertain good-byes, lose their friends in such violently fatal ways, and had to live day to day as many that served there; I dont believe they would want to fight a war handcuffed by policies written by a bunch of bureaucrats half a world away. I desire to fight the enemy, but never under the command of a government who cares more for the welfare of those that are devoted to our destruction more than those that they put into harms ways to defend us from that desired destruction.
