The only way were going to effectively combat all of the jalali misinterpretations of Islam out there is to work on increasing our jamali presence and practice of Islam. We need more beautiful, smiling faces, less scowls and grimaces. We need more peaceful and rational voices, less cacophonous and angry ones. We need more unity and humility, less divisiveness and rebellion. We need more peacemakers, less troublemakers. We need more encouragement and support speech, less trolling and vitriolic hate-mongering. In other words, we need to return to the sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who NEVER lost his adab with Allah (swt) or the creation of Allah (swt), even in times of oppression and anger. May Allah (swt) forgive us, and increase our ummah in knowledge, humility, and adab.
