The open source Hyperloop from the esteemed Elon Musk is probably based on new research-findings from superconductivity, evacuated tube transport technology and Maglev. All over the world, visionaries already developed detailed plans for Maglev tracks and it will be very exciting to connect all the metropoles that already have well functioning metrostations. Bit by bit they could be adjusted to adapt to the standards that mr. Musk is going to reveal in three weeks from now. Imagine the leap that humanity can take this way. Airline industry and trucking industry may be less excited but they surely can invest and participatie in Hyperloop International.
