The opening sequence to THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN Still gives me goosebumps to this day. I was just a lil boy when I used to watch this. I thought Steve Austin really had that accident. Gentleman, I believed they could rebuild him. I believed they had the technology. I believed he was the worlds first bionic man. When the running music kicked in, I believed I could also run 70mph. Then my dad told me Steve Austin wasnt an astronaut but an actor called Lee Majors. I was heartbroken. And then amazed. Lee Majors became my childhood hero. And I realized what a gift imagination is.
