The opposition:- Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace sit in lowly 19th place in the league table going into matchday seven of the season. Their only three points have come from beating bottom of the table Sunderland back in August. They have lost all of their other games, and scored just four goals (three of which came against the Black Cats). Ian Holloway will be hoping for an improved performance from the South London side before the international break, who are 1/6 to be relegated this season. The last time Liverpool met Crystal Palace at Anfield, the goatee-less Rafa Benitez had just taken over from Gerard Houllier at Anfield and the Reds ran out 3-2 winners thanks to a Milan Baros hat-trick. It’s 33/1 for for history to repeat itself with a 3-2 Liverpool win this time round.
