The original All quiet on the western front is on TCM. It was a tough decision to watch that or the Fox News special CHAOS ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER with Sean Hannity now interviewing Texas congressman Louie Gohmert about lining the border with the National Guard. Yup. Shoot the little felons as they swim the Rio Grande. Thatll slow em down. I decided on TCM. Theres more loud explosions in a film about disillusioned young German soldiers in WW1, but the dialogue is not quite as hysterical and shrill.
