“The original Hebrew for Meditate is Hagah qal, which according to Strong’s means “moan, growl, utter, muse, mutter, meditate, devise, plot, speak”. As you can see, its very different than what many teach today. Five of the possible means are associated with speaking. So when He says “you shall meditate on My word day and night”, it means more than to just think about it, it means to say it to yourself while you think about it. The Lord showed me that just as you “eat” physical bread through the operation of your mouth, you also eat “spiritual bread” – the Word – through the operation of your mouth. As you “say” His Word, His Word enters your Heart and transforms you. It fills your spirit, renews your mind, and brings life to your body. THEN, His Word, which is alive (Heb 4:12, Acts 7:38), will begin to live THROUGH you and walk and talk through you. His Word, who is Jesus, will live through you and do the same things He did on the shores of the Galilee – heal the sick, raise the dead, preach the good news to the poor. He wants the Living Word (Jesus) to live through us.” — Sept 18, 2009 ~ Words to His Bride
