The other day I had an opportunity to speak at Bruce Elementary School(6th grade)!!! I did it last year too!!! The day before I did it last year I had torn my Achilles Tendon(still showed up)!!! After meeting with the students last year(and having surgery), I changed my profile pic and made their cause(Childhood Obesity & Health and Fitness) my Mission!!! The first day I could put a shoe on my foot, I walked into the. District office and asked them if I could do a Case Study with their 5th grade PE. The next 6 months I met with 2 schools in the district(4 days a week) that had the worst test scores for PE testing(FOR FREE, just so I could collect the data)!!! I was able to dramatically improve their fitness!!! Lowering times in the mile run 6 Minutes and more, across the board!!! Single digit sit-ups and push-ups went to double digits!!! Its been an unbelievable journey and what Ive found to be successful here needs to be implemented nationwide if not worldwide!!!!
