The other day I was sitting in my living room. The house was quite and all I could hear was the clock in the hallway...tick, tick, tick. I realized as I heard that clock that every time it ticked a moment in time slipped away forever. I could not get it back, it was gone. That thought caused me to ponder on what I was doing with my time. Was it productive or wasted? Was I investing my time or spending it? Was I contributing to the lives of others, or sucking the life out of others? We all must ask ourselves these questions for we are accountable for our time and fulfilling our purpose. God has given us an assignment and He expects results. Look at the parable of the talents. He was none too happy with the one who buried his talent in the earth. We must take what God has given to us and do our best with what He has given. In doing so, we both both win. God is good, and He is a rewarder of those who do their part in partnership with Him. Let do business until He comes for His glory and our satisfaction.
