The other night I was talking to my girl friend Casey Hoff-Brewer I was telling her sometimes I wonder if all the work I do will ever make a difference, will it ever change the way we see each other or will Racism and Hate always exist . Ferguson has broken my heart , but not just because of the killing of Michael Brown , but because it reminds us all at least me just how awful we treat Black and Brown people and especially the children, the youth . Never giving them hope of a better tomorrow. If I have only had one thing its always been hope. When Ferguson fades away and hopefully Justice will come for Michael. Try and put yourself in the shoes the skin of those who dont look like you Yes Im talking to my White Friends, try and understand , for God sake just try . We have to change the way we treat each other. I guess Casey knew I needed a little encouragement , she sent me this video so I pass it on for everyone who struggles with life and for all my Black and Brown brothers and sisters . Dont Give Up . I wont .
