The other night I was told by a sweet friend that she was standing in the gap through prayer. Well angels brought Jenna safely to Duke last Friday and now I am asking for your prayers tomorrow morning. The Doctors plan on taking her off the vent tomorrow. They have reassured Shane and I that she can handle it. However, she will need additional support, whether that is c-pap mask or hi-flow oxygen. They have started weaning meds today and we hope she is ready. Prayer warriors, pray that her lungs are healed enough to come off, pray that her throat is not so swollen from the tube And she can breathe on her own, pray that God will breath his healing breaths into her and she will be healed. Doctors have warned me that she will have withdrawals, she will need physical therapy and that she will need help and to prepare myself-- my answer, Gods on my side! & Im a public school teacher---I think I can handle it! So to those that want to help, thank you and pray!!!!
