The other night when I announced the world was ending because my mom was looking up the definitions of Bukake, Duck Butter and Smegma... She was asking why/how we were aware of these horrid things. (Hahaha) I had to explain to her that there are a bunch of subgenres of metal and back in like 06 it was a common thing for the genres Grindcore and Deathcore to contain ridiculously absurd/gross song titles and lyrics. This was just a thing that came along with the inception of new genres of music. Most all the lyrics couldnt be understood anyways so bands were making their songs as ridiculous and extreme as possible. Nobody was ever taking these lyrics serious (obviously, none of my friends are psychopaths).. but it was new, interesting .. and a bit funny if you werent taking it seriously. She kept asking for examples but I hardly listen to music without meaning these days so it was hard to come up with something on the spot.
