The overall resource generated to this point ( $3977) Go Fund Me- $500 YouCaring- $1500 La Terraza - $1777 Private cash donation-$200 Hotel Cost to date - $572 & $429 ( $1001) There has also been an overwhelming flow of donations for the families. Anything from Toys, to tools to get families back to work. Currently the options being sought out are apartments for the families & also houses being donated, or sold at a reduced rate by the city of Detroit. This ordeal is far from over & these families really need us. We are staying up to date with every step, meeting with city officials, community activists & the families themselves. It is very humbling to watch a community come together for one another. The support from DBC followers is as well inspiring & humbling. The journey is still not over, but we have some strong forward momentum in rebuilding these families lives-
