The overuse of the word so is not only abuse of the English language, the act is a give away of a persons insincerity or dishonesty. When a person is speaking honestly, the word so breaks up speech or a sentence, while leading to further proof or meaning. In the phrase So good! the meaning equates to exceedingly or exclusively. To begin speaking with so is presumptive, to my ear, unless the speech is in harmony with the meaning of what the last person said.
