The pace of change is picking up rapidly at the MacLaren house. Mom is transitioning from the wheel chair to the walker, and doing pretty well. A new round of therapy is settling in, with a physical therapist to help her now learn how to go up and down steps, and an occupational therapist helping her manage household activities from the walker. Dad had a follow-up visit with his surgeon, and his artery is healing nicely. However, we will be looking more closely at some of the numbness he has experienced in his lower extremities. So more tests are scheduled in the next couple of weeks. All of this is occuring at a busy time for me, with financial reports coming due, a session meeting to lead, and a congregational meeting shortly thereafter. Please pray for us, especially mom and dad, that they would continue to endure by faith. Well, pray that for me too!! ;)
