The pain is still raw; it been a month since the passing of my son Kevin Rudi. He tried 6 different chemo regimes, had 6 different surgeries, and endured weeks of radiation. He lost his two year battle with Sarcoma barely 27 years young. During his short life he accomplished buying a home, getting a BA in accounting, started a career, traveled . . . . so much more. Kevin inspired many with his optimism and kindness. He loved investing in stocks, rugby, cheering, wrestling, art, music, motorcycles, Ping-Pong . . . he had a zest for living! He said cancer could never consume his soul. Every young person lost before they can fully blossom is a loss to our country. Our government needs to fund research to stop the cruelty this disease deals victims and families.
