The panther sat at the edge of the woods. Beth rose, crossing - TopicsExpress

The panther sat at the edge of the woods. Beth rose, crossing halfway to kneel in a patch of wild strawberries. The creature raised his head, testing the scents riding on the air currents. Satisfied, he crept out into the open and made his way towards her. He slunk across the meadow, white daisies stark against his fur as he sliced through the summer grass like a dark dream. The hay and wildflowers showered his long, supple back with chaff and pollen. Muscles rippled under his midnight fur. He kept his golden gaze on her. When the feline reached her, tail twitching, purring rumbled out of his chest. “Hello, my friend,” Beth said softly. “It’s been a long time, hasn’t it?” amazon/Passion-of-the-Panther-ebook/dp/B00E8RZ4FC
