The past 18 months have been life changing and a little crazy to say the least. After doing the show my life has not been the same. I said goodbye to my life as I knew it and was forced to start a new one. I became homeless and had to send my kids to live with their dad. I had to say goodbye to my kids, my family and some friends. During this time, I realized that there truly are good people in the world and family doesnt have to share the same DNA. Ive learned its alright to be by myself but, being with people who care about me is even better. And even though Im saddened by some relationships lost, I have gained many new ones. What happened to me before and after the show was horrible, but I know I am not alone. It can happen to anyone at any time. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of people just like me. My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds; that in itself is an accomplishment. They also bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that the damage life has inflicted on me has, in many places, left me stronger and more resilient. What hurt me in the past has actually made me better equipped to face the present. I am grateful that I survived and even more grateful to all of you who have helped me through the ups and downs. God has blessed me with great kids and brought three additional kids into my life. I have awesome friends, a job I love, and a very supportive boyfriend. Maybe I will get my fairy tale ending after all. I will forever be grateful to the people who have supported me and stood by me through EVERYTHING!!!! Thank you!
