The past few days have been absolutely incredible. A huge huge thank you and congratulations to Dr. Catherine Rand and the USM Wind Ensemble for an outstanding concert last night. Another huge thank you and congratulations to my professor, Dr. Ben McIlwain, and the USM Trombone Studio for the amazing concert on Sunday. Also, an enormous thank you to Mr. Joseph Alessi for sharing his talents and knowledge with my colleagues and me over the past few days - it has been nothing short of inspirational. 2 concerts and a lesson with Mr. Alessi - talk about kicking year 27 off with a bang! Happy birthday to me! Another huge thank you to both Dr. McIlwain and Dr. Rand for making it all happen. Now, homeward bound for some much-needed (and waay overdue) family time. North Carolina, here I come!
