The past is what guided us into today. Without the ugly past, without the bubbly past, today wouldnt have existed. With each second that registers on the ticking clock, with each passing breeze, they are but chapters of our lives and the way we live it determines what we become. We are like finished village beads from a ceramic vase atop the heavy feminine thighs of a Krobo elderly trying to carefully and craftily arrange them on the thread to gird the youthful hips of the next Dipo girl. Such is our lives - and when the beads finally get wrapped around the waist per the wisdom of the old lady, it means we are ripe to take the mantle of the world, to trod the wilderness and face the struggle ourselves. The beads would fit the waist from day one; and when it loosens along the way, it means we have fallen short of where we fit in life or our purpose in life has decreased. If it begins to tighten the waist, it means we have out-grown the expectations and need new beads (more initiatives) added to us to complement or compliment the glow of our resourcefulness.
