The past two weeks we said goodbye to two of our precious little seniors - Gizmo was a little pekapoo girl who came to us over a year ago with her sister Angel (owner surrenders). Gizmo was 13 years old and we gave her the best life we could during the time she spent in our care. She was a little rolly polly girl when she came to us and with a little time and exercise, she was very proud of being able to run rather than waddle. She was a happy little one who never complained about a thing. Cosmo was a little pom boy who was found in a shelter at the age of 13. He spent the past two years with us and thanks to his foster family, John and Patsy, had a wonderful life filled with lots of love and homemade cooking. He was a beautiful little soul. We advocate for seniors because they are special and deserve all the great things in life as they travel the final leg of their lifes journey. Whether its a few months or a few years, they are remarkable companions. These two little ones will be missed by all of us.
