The past week has been a difficult one! A fine Christian man, husband, brother-in-law, father, and uncle was buried last Tuesday. My uncle Roy V. Wilson was a gentle, loving man - he loved God, his family, AND his country. He was a hard worker (like most his age!) and had so many friends. He will missed for his quick wit, laughter, and wise advice. Yesterday, we had an amazing CELEBRATION honoring the life of Carla Jo Patton. Carla was a long-time member of the orchestra at Southcrest Baptist Church. She and her husband, Russell have played the trombones for oh so many years. I cant think of a choir or orchestra member that were not there to honor her! The music (all of her choosing) was a true glimpse of Heaven. Please remember to pray for both these families. AND remember to hold your family members close -- to hug and kiss them often -- and TELL them that you love them!!!!! Life is so very short -- and HEAVEN gets a little sweeter all the time!
