The pasta recipe as requested. WARNING, its devilish to the health yet delish to the tastebuds! Enjoy it ladies! Creamy chicken and mushroom recipe Ingredients: 1 Onion 2 Chicken breasts cubed 1 Punnet mushrooms (± 10 mushrooms cleaned and sliced) 2 tubs of cream 500ml milk Half packet penne pasta 1tsp spoon garlic and ginger 1 tbsp. garlic Freshly ground pepper 1 ½ tbsp. Garlic pepper 2 tbsp. Inna Paarman meat spice Origanum Mixed herbs 1tsp. Garlic salt 2 tbsp. butter (Any butter) 3 tbsp. of flour Sprinkle of sugar (More like a pinch) Garnish: 1 pkt. Mixed Lettuce at your local food chain 1 pkt. Fresh Rocket Method: Cook and drain pasta as mentioned on pack. Chop onion finely and fry in 1 tbsp. of butter till light brown. Once onion is browned, add garlic and ginger and garlic. Braise above for 5mins then add small cubes of chicken. Sprinkle with 1tblsp. Meat spice, 1tsp garlic pepper, and ½ tsp garlic salt (According to taste). Allow chicken to fry, add mushrooms and fry for 3minutes (Try not to overcook mushrooms, I feel it cooks away the fresh taste of the mushrooms) Add the milk and allow it cook for 5mins. Separately mix the flour and a bit of milk with extra spices above (To retain the flavour of pasta sauce as the flour tends to reduce and kill some of the flavour) till a runny paste is formed. Add this paste to the pasta sauce milk mixture in pot and stir slowly till a sauce slightly thickens. Add the remaining butter to above mixture and stir through till butter has melted. Allow to cook for 2mins then stir in tubs of cream. Sprinkle with pinch of sugar and stir. Allow to cook on medium heat for 5minutes. Throw in already cooked pasta stir very well so that sauce pasta is well covered with sauce and cook for 2mins. (If pasta sauce seems too little for the amount of pasta, just add more milk to the mixture and leftover flour mixture to thicken sauce to your preference) Sprinkle with origanum and grind in black pepper corns cook for another 2mins. Taste the pasta throughout and if need be I add a little more meat spice conservatively for the taste to be perfectly creamy, savoury yet herby and freshly ground peppery (If that is even a word, lOl) Then rinse off your leaves, mix the lettuce and rocket. Layer plate with lettuce and dish the pasta on your bed of leaves and bon appetite, enjoy!
