The penultimate week here in Spain before the Students return to or start their new courses and studies. This year more than ever before, I have remembered how it felt to be A Pupil - memories of being at Junior School, Senior School, University..... And Actually - it was the very best time of my life. No Responsibility, a good life and lots of good friendships. The studying was just the cement between academia and the more important time spent Acting, Singing, Playing Rugby or Sports (ruining my body in the later years) or maybe just learning to socialise at the college bar !!!!!!! I hear youngsters today hating school, bemoaning teachers, and underachieving. Those of us that have attempted to been there, done that, got the video etc know only too well that life is a passage where you get out - only what you put in....if you are lucky. And when something doesnt work out for you the first time - try try and try again and if someone knocks you for something, you can usually put it down to jealousy or envy on their part. Life gets no easier as you get older - the thoughts of If Only and what if Id come thicker and faster. Better to get on, bite the bullet, and work as hard as you can, whenever you can, and for as long as you can. Time and The Grime Reaper wait for no man or mortal and very soon The Best Time of your Life is gone..... Make sure you dont waste it ........have a great last week of holidays .........Young or Old.........xx
