The people of the United States had better choose a presidential candidate who is not going to placate illegal immigration, but take a tough stand against the illegal invasion from the South as well as send the government of Mexico an equally strong message that we are no longer going to tolerate this disrespect for our sovereignty. What we need is a Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders who taught the Mexicans a lesson for carrying out illegal raids into U.S. territory. In spite of the rhetoric, do not expect McCain, Giuliani, or Huckabee to be tough on illegal immigration. The Democrats are so soft on illegal immigration that if they gain the White House, amnesty is a sure thing. The Democrats only want the Hispanic vote and corporate America wants their money. The only candidate who seems to have the right approach to illegal immigration is Mitt Romney. However, no one knows for sure what any politician will do once he sits down in the Oval Office and realizes the power he has. God respects our borders and so should any viable presidential candidate. I will not personally vote for any candidate who does not have a tough immigration policy. God bless.
