The person you vote for does not guarantee your economic - TopicsExpress

The person you vote for does not guarantee your economic wellbeing. Stop getting sentimental and alligning your support across tribal, religious, economic lines... ideology should be your prime factor for alligning your support. The core north have dominated the political landscape of Nigeria for decades, but they have the highest poverty index in Nigeria... in short core north breed 90% of the beggars on the streets of our cities. Sentiments, domination and religion never did north and Nigeria at large any good. If you must support a candidate, let your motive be ideological than sentimental, tribal, religious or economical. Obasanjo was President for 8 years, how has that transformed Otta, talk more of Ogun state and the entire south-west. Senator David Mark is senate president for 8 years, how has that transformed the idomaland? Though he tried this last time small, we held him to ransome to fix Otukpo/Otukpa road, a task he reluctantly accomplished. But can one go to Otukpo today and hit his hand on his chest and be proud of the our ancient town? Even the road that leads to his personal house; one can not be proud of it. Senator Akume was Governor for 8 years, how has that wiped poverty in his Tarka local government or has Governor Suswam succeded in turning Logo local government in Dubai? Learn from history, lets be careful as we allow politicians to invest in our divides for cheap polical gains. Let me tell you one fact, our politicians point at our divides and never observed these divides when they marry. They marry across tribes. You see a politician from Adamawa marrying from Osun, Borno marrying from Imo, Rivers from Kogi... we are not as divided as our politics may want us to believe, but we must use our head this 2015. Dont support a man because to you; you think your economic strengths depend on his victory... it is this desperation that has economic colouration that most times inspire post election violence. I give you an example of myself; in 2011 elections I publicly declared for Gen Buhari, and I had my reason then; Nigeria was too fragile a nation to give to Dr Goodluck to preside over, whose leadership credentials I know nothing of. Can anyone here today challenge my stance in 2011, has Dr Goodluck done above average, has he really stirred Nigeria to that enviable heights that you are proud of? Till this moment, I still have my reservation about Dr Goodluck, i have spoken with him once on phone before, I am not a Gejite and neither am I still passionate about Buhari. The post election violence of 2011, the BH insurgencies and the stance of Gen Buhari, leaves so much to be desired with. I never saw a non political, patriotic and nationalistic body language from Gen Buhari with regards to ending BH evangelism. 2015, I am not supporting anybody, I would only support the person that wins in the interest of national unity. Your economic power is not depended on who you support, some of you who carried Goodluck campaigns on your head have not benefited one 100th of what some people like us who never voted for him have. My economy is controlled from heaven, just make sure you are connected to heaven, when I began campaigns for the reconstruction of otukpo/otukpa road, every attempt was made to isolate the me economically, but God has given me the grace to know that He is the only reliable source... and I can survive without putting hope on any man or government. The political party I support does not have say on my economy, if I like I support PDP today, APC tomorrow and APGA next, it has no effect me, and my support must be ideological. Thank you. Stay focused and may God heal Nigeria! ENENCHE ENENCHE ( COMEDIAN )
