The picture in this article says it ALL. For those not in the know....Or pretend to not be in the know..... I DO NOT LIKE PHONE CALLS..... Most introverts cant stand phone calls. Its probably the most brain jarring thing you could do to me....especially unexpected ones.....throws my WHOLE day off....Its just an overall miserable experience for the most part. I need to be mentally prepared....It needs to be scheduled (like literally the calls to my mother, who is, I think, the ONLY person that I do call voluntarily)..... And also because I dont do small chit chat well, if the phone call is just that...its all that much more miserable an experience. I dont know why. But it just is. And if you base your opinion of me and my whole character/personality based on whether or not I make/receive phone calls.....Then youll just think very poorly of me overall...which is not something I can control, and you may have your opinion. But if you conclude that I am a RUDE human being because I dont call you, and instead reach out to you via text/email instead....Then Im sorry that you cant see past that one small minute thing. And if you cant be bothered to then appreciate anything else positive that I bring to you or the world in general...Oh well....Theres nothing that I can do to change such a mind. I tend to find this problem more so with people who have known me since I was young, and not those who I have come to know and share my life with in the past 5-7 years....So maybe its a cultural thing...I dont know. I know most of my friends (and some family) KNOW that if they receive a random unscheduled phone call from me, they immediately answer it, because they KNOW that it must be terribly important, must be an emergency, Im in trouble, or its grave news that I have to pass on. And I truly wholeheartedly appreciate all of you who work with my communication system and dont judge my entire being by how I choose to keep in touch with you all.
