The picture of Jesus knocking on the Door below is a representation of Jesus waiting lovingly, patiently for us to open up the door of our heart to Him. What a loving Savior. He died then waits for us. Our God waits for us to grant Him authority to enter our hearts. The very heart He created He desires access to. What an enlightening symbolism of His great love for us... I wrote in a post a couple days ago that we are not only to bow our knees to our Lord, but to bow [thoroughly submit] our hearts to our Lord. I think this is one of the most profound statements that I am learning. Not just by ear, nor word, but in deed. Writing is an expression of my journey with the Lord. Learning is an accumulation of knowledge. Wisdom is when to use the knowledge. But to be completely unified with the Lord I am living and learning the word submission is essential. Submission from what though? From a broken, contrite, sincere, loving heart. A heart which desires so much to be unified with the Lord that it has attained understanding. Understanding that it cannot have what it wants pertaining to worldly desires. To what its attracted to. To what appeases it. The heart which God gave each of us is so complex we do not fully understand how it works. But God does. Thats exactly why He has given each of us a completely unique heart and free will within it. Within Gods plan He so designed the heart that is able to say no to God. Dont get me wrong, God is soveriegn. God is everlasting. But once God gave man free will He isnt soveriegn over each heart till each heart submits itself back to the Lord whom created it. Mankind can do nothing to affect God other than to decide to be with God or not. It really affects man more than God. God is I AM, and always will be I AM. Existing before time, space and all matter. As God designed the heart He desired hearts that would desire freely lovingly to be with Him. Loving Him freely as He loves us. This is the importance of free will. Each individual heart desires what each heart seeks and chooses to allow in thier life. What it desires. We see it every day in the assortment of people on this earth. People who love God and people who want nothing to do with Him. Some know God personally. Some know formatted religion. Some dont know Him at all. Some hate Him. Some that give freely to others. Some that are self absorbed. Thats the beauty in Gods plan. He wants a heart that will learn to sincerely desire to be with God fully from free will as it learns and grows within the life granted to us by God to be with Him. To fully understand then submit itself back to God as God desires. God desires a heart to know then dedire why its doing what its doing. If were following others blindly what merit has that in the Lords eyes? Even sheep follow sheep. God wants a sheep that hears and desire to follow His voice. His very heart of the Good Shepherd. This is the beauty of Gods plan. God desires intimacy with His children. He desires to grant eternal life to those who want to be with Him. God just wants to know that the heart He created sincerely, freely, lovingly desires to be with Him as much as He desires to be with it. satan and Adam and Eve are perfect examples of free will. They were given life but wanted more than what they were allotted by God. This we know as sin. As rebellion. God so leads my heart to Hebrews 13:5a Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. God reveals to me through this scripture that if what God hasnt given us so far isnt enough, nothing He has will ever be enough. Just as the fall of satan. satan envied Gods position of authority. Envying what God had lead to self seeking desire and uncontentment. Leading to greed and pride and the birth of sin. We are to be content at where we are to in our journey with God. Sure ee are to desire more always in your relationship with God. But dont become do focused on down the path we are not happy with where were at. Focus on the day at hand to learn and grow where Gods teaching us in this moment leading you, me, all people further. This is all part of Gods plan. God knows all things. God knew satan would rebel. God knew Adam and Eve would desire more and become decieved. It was inevitable that man would fall. Adam and Eve only knew good. They did not know evil till they fell and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In order to be able to choose from good and evil, write and wrong one has to be presented and know both to be able to make that choice. Otherwise its not a choice. Its Its a directive. And God offers eternal life with Hom through choice not by command. Otherwise theres no free will involved. Jesus told us what to do as the Lords commandments for us, but He wont make us do them. Even when Adam and Eve had fallen God asks where they are in the Garden of Eden. I love this as God knew where they were. But God wanted them to know where they were. What condition they were now in. What state of existance, fallen... When God asks a question its not for His benefit, but for ours. For God knows all things. Hes already at the end of every decision we choose. Hes even there when we choose but still allows us to choose... So Awesome... What love our Father has for us! He teaches us so we may live... Thus the Torah... Thus His Son Jesus came whom Grace and Truth flow from... Life itself unto us who could not achieve life through the works or the law... Deuteronomy 30:15-20 NKJV “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; THEREFORE CHOOSE LIFE, THAT BOTH YOU AND YOUR DESENDANTS MAY LIVE; THAT YOU MAY LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, FOR HE IS LIFE TO THE LENGTH OF YOUR DAYS; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” As I said its part of Gods plan as far as it has been revealed to me. We have to know, to experienxe good and evil to be able to choose freely what the heart wants. This is deep but neseccary in our journey with God. I have seen hearts deny God. Even mine. Not even in an intentional way. There is so much of a conditioned lifestyle, desire from good intentioned love or hurt within some people that the heart would rather remain closed remaining in an unhealthy area of discomfort. Unaware of its current status. Even becoming aware of the truth than moving on to an area that brings healing and release but uncertainty also. It would rather stay where it knows something than an area that it knows nothing. Thats the importance in open submission to God. We are willing to expose and relinquish the very most inner depths within us to God. The very core of who we are and what makes us us. Turning over the authority God granted to us returning it to Him. All in Gods plan for man. As Paul says, I die daily unto self so God may live. God reigning in our hearts at all times from voluntary submission to Him. freely, daily, lovingly seeking the heart of our King. To die is gain. To die is to live. Even in living and ministering to others we must understand this fundimrntal concept of the heart to be able to reach people and form a bond. We cannot understand where a persons heart is. Even with revealed details we only see the cosmetics so to speak. But God knows the very depths of each heart and how it got to be the way it is. And more important how to reach, refine, heal, realign and restore hearts unto Him. His greatest desire. A heart that seketh His. I dont belive that anything pleases the Lord more. Other than a heart thats found and is lovingly submissive and obedient to His heart. The meaning of andll creation. For the eternal soul to be unified with God through our hearts from free will through love... HALELLUJAH!!! God literally laid down His life freely on the cross from love. God literally desires we lay our life down for Him now by bowing our hearts to the hearts Creator and King. Jesus the manifested power of God born in the flesh enduring as a man what ee do so we may live. Setting the ultimate example of how to loving submit to Father and lay down ones life so we may follow. Again a long post but I feel very informative and neseccary in our journey to learn. Genesis 2:15-17 NKJV Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” I Corinthians 15:31 NKJV I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. Galatians 2:16, 19-21 NKJV knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” John 12:24-26 NKJV Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. Jeremiah 17:5, 7, 9-10 NKJV Thus says the Lord : “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord , And whose hope is the Lord . “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. Matthew 16:24-27 NKJV Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. II Timothy 2:1-13,15-16,19-21 NKJV You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. This is a faithful saying: FOR IF WE DIED WITH HIM, WE SHALL ALSO LIVE WITH HIM. IF WE ENDURE, WE SHALL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM. IF WE DENY HIM, HE WILL ALSO DENY US. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. TO DENY GOD COMES JUST NOT IN A MANS FAITH AND BELIEF IN GOD BY WORD OF MOUTH. BUT IN THE REFUSAL TO RELINQUISH ONES HEART COMPLETELY TO THE ONE WHOM CREATED IT. GIVING OUR HEART TO BE COMPLETELY UNIFIED THROUGH LOVING SUBMISSION. THIS IS WHERE IM AT. THE COMPLETE, SINCERE, LOVING SURENDER FREELY OF MY HEART AND WILL UNTO GOD. COMPLETELY. IT IS MY PRAYER BEING ANSWERED. TO KNOW AND TO DO ARE COMPLETELY TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. JAMES SAYS DO NOT JUST BE HEARERS OF THE WORD. WE MUST BE DOES OF THE WORD... THE AUTHOR OF THE WORD [JESUS] BEING COMPLETELY ENGRAINED WITHIN US. BECOMING ONE NEW MAN FROM THE TWO. [EPH 2:14-22] THE VEIL OF SEPETATION HAS BEEN TORN DOWN ON HIS PART. WE NEED TO DO OUR PART NOW...
