The pilot process is a trip. First the network makes the pilot. With Network and Cable TV the pilot is then tested by the network before big crowds, small crowds and private Nielsen ratings done in select homes, according to the targeted demographic. If the pilot tests really well, it still may or may not end up on TV. But if the network doesnt approve the pilot, it will never see the light of day. It will never get a time slot and it goes away. With streaming networks, such as Amazon, the pilot is released and tested on anyone willing to watch and write a review. Based on public feedback and what the network feels it needs, the pilot may or may not go. But its still awesome that we get to showcase our work whether we go to series or not.
