The pioneer Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, Justice Mustapha Akanbi, has lost his wife, Alhaja Musatu Aduke. Musatu, 68, who died in an Indian hospital on Friday had been hospitalised for an undisclosed ailment for about a month. Our correspondent learnt that the deceased had gone to Saudi Arabia for the recent hajj with her husband, who was the Armirrah Hajj for Kwara State. She was said to have taken ill in Saudi Arabia. It was learnt that her remains might be flown from India to Ilorin, Kwara State, on Monday, where she would be buried. The deceased is survived by six children and grand children. One of Akanbi’s children, Prof. Mohammed of the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, confirmed the demise of the mother in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Friday. posted on November 15, 2013 at 06:40PM jtnng.blogspot/
