The place to stay in Tuncurry when visiting is Tokelau House B&B. 2 Manning St., Tuncurry, 02 6557 5157. Stephen (sorry if that spelling is wrong), the owner operator is nothing less than a wonderfully gracious host. Cooked breakfast, great coffee or simply a friendly chat nothing is too much trouble for his guests. The B&B is currently being renovated and with its eclectic mix of period furniture and furnishings, I am sure the finished result will become the jewell on the Tuncurry side of the bridge.
