The planets are expanding, there was a time when Mars was in the same position as Earth is in now, so therefor possible to with-stain living organisms I think rather that, the planets expand and contract in that the majority of the Earths water had once been inside the planet. Where as presently for the last 15,000 years or so the majority of our planets water has been in a released state on the surface. I believe the planets to be in some state or other of something like a seasonal flux. Mars exhibits this theory quite well: Marss water is on the inside of the planet at the moment. Mars will expand and the water will find its way to the surface and the Earth will contract with its water returning to the inside. There is a giant body of water thats still under the continent of China - If I might add. Perhaps remnant of the last ice age, but goes to show that the Earths water was more than possibly beneath the surface at some point in time. One can note in quite a few images of Mars the indication of water ( or some liquid ) surfacing in a geyser-like manner. NASA still fumbles with a logical explanation for these discoveries. Its absurd how they down play the existence of water on Mars, that its only a remote possibility that if there was water on Mars - and that if it was there, it was such a long time ago that it shouldnt matter to anyone....Its as though mankinds attention is intentionally being diverted away from other planets and space all the like. https://youtube/watch?v=Gc51ftLEE4Y
