By asking her to plead to a lesser charge the state is avoiding a lawsuit, they are avoiding a lengthy investigation as to why it was a mistake, and basically taking no responsibility at all. No this is not justice. If shes innocent, she deserves more than just her freedom after 30 + years in jail.
