The pleasure to guide the next generation is super. With their sharp wit, funky ways and a quest to learn something new, is beyond powerful to me. This beautiful young lady Theresa (and my god daughter who is sitting on the bench sorting though the Beans) is off to uni next year to study the art of become a vet-genius really:the kid knows what and how she wants to spend her time on the planet. The hunger for change that Theresa is showing up with and the interest in this age of Faster.Quicker.High tech Foods that are readily available with out getting out of your car, has become interesting to me as a chef. This generation of eaters are unique and so are their food Isms... Implementing simple dishes to a teenager, sets them up for life, bringing the future of food into the present moment, reminds me that transformation is at play. Theresa shows up to our cooking lessons with a brightness and hunger to learn the art of simply using whole real food, as close to nature intended it to be, with low human interference: By the end of the next few weeks Theresa will and can cook yummy meals that are focused on plants.
