The plight of the African american as we know it Is never ending - TopicsExpress

The plight of the African american as we know it Is never ending and it is perpetuated by the justice system and the senseless killings and brutality of our people I think about the revolutionaries of Times past And wonder if those who were being followed created leaders Martin had a great following, Malcom had a great following Nelson Mandela although not African American had formidable influence In his culture and society and around the world. Who got comfortable and decided that The fight was no longer necessary? Who walked away from what was being taught and built? Men are not the leading men anymore and women are not women any longer It seems that a little progress has made us complacent not only that we are the only group of people who dont have a strong sense of community But when something goes down we want to be violent together and compare it to what our forefathers did not understanding that there was organization and preparation for the upcoming battle. A house divided cannot stand and until we recognize who the real enemy is we will continue to contribute to the genocide of our race. ~Tiffany Denise
