The point that jabbed me (quite hard) is that I can run my life quite well on planning and preparation and, if I’m not careful, I forget to be quiet before God and listen. I’m supposed to be a branch on the Vine. Without Him I can do nothing, right? I need to be reminded of that regularly. He knows things I don’t and He has everyone’s good in mind. In my work, in my marriage, in everything.
