The points made are valid, IMO and I wish that our school board AND ALL superintendents would do this very thing. Not as administrators in dress clothes but attire of jeans and Tshirt. To act as and be treated exactly as the students are from start to finish, including lunch in the cafeteria, bathroom breaks ONLY between classes (even if athlete that should be drinking 100+ ounces of water a day), carrying 25lb backpacks because zero effort goes into locker assignments so most HS students CANT use them since nowhere near their classes, carry gear bag since no lockers to fit the $1000 worth of baseball equipment boys NEED, and to experience the ways of teaching that their policies put into place. I like so many believe our administration is far removed from what all the policies and procedures actually mean to not only our children but our teachers. So much of what occurs in the classroom is dictated by district policy and not by our teachers anymore. Could be eye opening.....
