The political philosophical term conservative/conservatism means - TopicsExpress

The political philosophical term conservative/conservatism means in context: holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relating to politics or religion. Whereas western world conservatism for the better part has separate metaphysical views that leans to traditions, and classic-liberalism (neo-liberalism), eastern world conservatism is more along the lines orthodoxy and ultra-traditionalist. In Russia for example, being a conservative means something different from western nations that correlates to the Middle East and Asia (minus the theocratic laws in governance). What Russian conservatism wants to conserve is their long and almost completely unbroken dogmatic tradition of tyranny. Owen Matthews gives his analysis of the Russian right-wing military leader and it computes to the Ukrainian situation. The Russians proxy occupation with Ukraine none is more enigmatic than the Donetck rebel leader Igor Girkin, better known by his nom de guerre of Igor Strelkov. Strelkov in a short while has gone from being an obscure military re-enactor to the highest profile rebel leader in eastern Ukraine. But at the time Strelkovs fame and outspoken critics of Vladimir Putin for failing to sufficiently support the rebels has earned him the enmity of the Kremlin!
