The political temprature is geting stronger by the day as the 2015 general election draw nearer. The political struture in Nig. had been build on the threshold of personal intrest and at the detriment of the masses. The kinds of politics play in Nigeria does not have a well define mission of a political leader as a representative of the people. Even when there are certain agenda of the governmen in pursuance for public intrest, those leaders in authority aliways convert the process of governing for the public gud to their owtn useful venture, udermining the collective intrest of the masses which is the primary purepose of the programme agenda. In a democratic society like our in Nigeria, the constructive background leading to the formation of a political party determines the effective performance of the party, when it is really in power. The calibre of politicians we have in Nigeria has crave a niche where they tactically used to course confusion among the masses. It is no longer new that, in this country political activities are not view from the angle of national intrest, rather it seen from the angle of ethinic and religious consideration. These had over time confronted the growth and developmen of our democracy. It is disheartening for hetrogenous society like Nigeria to engage in such odds which aliways tends to bring disunity into ou co-operate existence as one indivisible entity. The current challenges on the leadership and governance of this country is because the crop of leaders we have in this country came from a bad source that does not have a human phase. The need for political orientation and social engineering is paramount among the electorate. It is high time we change our econocentric believe of voting for a candidate of a certain religion or ethinic group.
