The poorest persons in the world are those without a soul dream. The most frustrated people the world over are people with a dream that never comes to reality. This is the supreme summation of what the dark continent, my Africa has come to be identified with. Africans runaway from Africa and the rest of the world do not come to Africa since Africa is not a place where people or individuals can relish the Open Future they laud. Why is Africa like this? The answer is simple and straightforward. Africas knowledge warehouses, by this I mean books written and published in Africa and by Africans are nearly 98% Religious books and Academic textbooks and not books encouraging Imagination, intellection, the healing and purging of the mindscape by the means of scholarly poetry or fiction. Thank you so uniquely Dede Immanuel James Ibe-Anyanwu for sounding that intellectual canon shot with your book UNDER BRIDGE. I am yet to read it but I am convinced about your writing autochthony.
